April 2007

Alika and I had lots of fun at the first ever U-FLI tournament held in Canada.  Despite doing a face plant into the box on the second day of racing and giving herself a nosebleed, she was able to attain 790 points and the TF-II title.  Silly girl doesn't know when to stop!!

July 2006

Alika earns her next title of Flyball Master (FM) at Back Draft's first tournament in Kingston.  This after severing a  tendon in her foot a little over a year ago!

May 2005

Alika played hard in the first ever tournament in Ottawa.  She ended up double running and the races were 5/5 heats.  She earned her FDCH-G on Saturday and earned over 1,000 points again!

February 2005

Alika had a stellar performance at her first ever SharkFEBst.  She ran several 3.9 second runs and ran on two teams earning just over 1, 000 points towards her next title.

September 2004

Alika earned another 591 points towards her next title.  Again, she was stellar.  And, she is getter faster!  She ran seven 4.0 runs over the week-end.

August 2004

On August 21st Alika earned her FD and FDX titles.  On August 22nd, she earned her FDCh!!  She ran every heat of every race of the tournament with zero re-runs and zero no-finishes.  And, to top it all off, she consistently ran times of 4.1 and 4.2 seconds!!

July 2004

Alika went to her second tournament and earned 4 points towards her FD.  She is going to be fast!

June 2004

Alika and I went to our first tournament...what an experience!!  She was the warm up dog and actually got to run one heat in two separate races (for a total of two heats) as we were racing for exhibition only.  Of course we made sure that all the dogs in other lane had finished as she had not done any head-to-head runs in the past.  She did really well with run times of 4.85 seconds and 4.59 seconds (official time was over 8 seconds as we had to wait for the other to team to complete a re-run)!!
